Growing up in Vancouver BC, Shae attended the Richmond Academy of Dance, where her training and love of dance began at the age of 3. Along the way, Shae excelled at many styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theatre. Shae’s training extends to completion of Royal Academy of Dance, Advanced 1 syllabus and training in voice and acting. To enhance her training even further, she travelled to places such as LA and New York. 

 

In her teenage years Shae attended The Joffrey Ballet summer intensive in California where she was then selected to work very closely with world renown choreographer Mia Michaels in her piece “EYES”.

 

Shae went on to complete the 3 month certificate program at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, KTL (Harbour Dance Centre) and Source Dance Company (Harbour Dance Centre) which brought on many new performance opportunities for her. Shae has had the pleasure of performing to sold out crowds in two live-interactive cabaret shows based out of Vancouver, The Smoke Show with Jen Oleksiuk and The Darlings Cabaret with Katheryn Schellenberg. More credits include “Rock Legends” at the Chemanius Theatre Festival, WE day at Rogers Arena and The Main Event. 

 

On screen Shae can be seen dancing in “Riverdale” (Netflix), “Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist” (NBC), “DC Legends of Tomorrow” (CW), “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” (Netflix) and “Death of a Cheerleader” (Lifetime). 

 

Shae is a founding instructor/dance teacher at Formation Studio, where she teaches dance and fitness style classes. She has also had the pleasure of being a sub at Harbour Dance Centre, and various other studios around the city. 

 

Over the years, Shae has developed a wealth of knowledge from working in this industry and is excited to share it!
